Summary

Were looking for a high-agency, curious, collaborative, and experienced Business Development professional to drive Uniswap Labs relationships with hundreds of ecosystem partners across categories from infrastructure partners and blockchains to market-makers and hedge-funds.

This individual will report into our Head of BD and Partnerships and work closely with our product and growth teams to understand Uniswaps product stack, our unique offerings and serve our fast growing ecosystem of partners. 

This role requires a strong understanding of DeFi and Finance and the Web3 infrastructure stack, strong organizational abilities and ability to cross-functionally work across business and product to cater to our community. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Uniswaps partner inbound and outreach across various channels - Telegram, email, slack, conferences, etc. Triage these communications and appropriately direct to the right teams internally resolve queries and surface collaboration ideas. Zoom out to synthesize insights into relevant actionable feedback for the business, product and engineering teams. 
  • Be Uniswaps eyes and ears in the market via taking independent meetings with Uniswaps rolodex of ecosystem-wide contacts and partners. Engage with partners productively and thoughtfully at a high level of finance and product proficiency
    • Actively track products, tools and synthesize them into actionable insights. Zoom out to proactively identify opportunities that can help our product and growth strategy
  • Proactively drive growth by ensuring Uniswap products have strong distribution across the Web3 ecosystem by working with other key crypto players on partnerships/ affiliate / referral initiatives
  • Support Uniswaps API business by identifying clients, supporting pre-sales and sales ops (sales pitches, follow-ups, maintaining CRM, etc.). Glean insights from client conversations and track feedback and usage to inform future sales/product/eng 

Requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience (ideally in web3 or broader fintech) with 2+ years of BD with technical B2B/B2C products 
  • Strong understanding of how financial markets work and curiosity to learn quickly 
  • Ability to present well in meetings with senior executives and sophisticated clients    
  • Ability to lead through influence, develop strong relationships with technical teams, and drive alignment across teams
  • Incredibly clear written communication, ability to make compelling sales presentations and desire to document everything
  • Very organized, able to stay on top of several moving projects at once

Nice to haves:

  • Prior experience in finance / consulting/ product is a plus 

Minimum full-time salary of $125,000 - $170,000. Disclosure in accordance with New York City's Pay Transparency Law. Full Time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation elements, including equity, tokens, and benefits, dependent on the position type.
