Summary

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned dealmaker with experiences in strategic partnerships, having the ability to think through how markets need to adapt to support paradigm-shifting technology. The candidate’s core skill sets should be in business development, deal execution, partner and stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, project execution. Working as part of a fast-moving global team, candidates will need to be self-starters with the ability to work independently and work effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams based in other time zones. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  1. Co-Develop with cross functional teams and execute Ripple's business development strategy for Institutional DeFi, including real world assets tokenization and stablecoin adoption. Able to work/ support regional BD team on payment/stablecoin use cases explorations, drive and develop strategic partnerships with FIs, Exchanges, crypto natives.
  2. Build sustainable partnerships with projects developers, issuers and institutions who can build and support the growth of the XRP Ledger.
  3. Work closely with the product, engineering, and sales teams to bring new products and services to market that enable institutional participation in institutional DeFi in a safe and compliant way.
  4. Build a sustainable ecosystem and generate demand through identification of financial institutions, including institutional investors and other partners who are interested in investing in tokenized real world assets.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  1. 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships and sales in relevant sectors: Tech, Finance, Banking
  2. Relevant experience in either Institutional DeFi, Exchanges, blockchain technologies or fintech.
  3. Interest and strong understanding of the institutional DeFi market, in particular tokenized real world assets, stablecoins
  4. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  5. Proven track record of success in developing first of a kind partnerships and complex deals
  6. A strong collaborator: An ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills
