Summary

As bitFlyer continues to grow and enhance its systems, building a more robust and strategic security framework has become a top priority. We are looking to strengthen our team by welcoming a Security Engineer with advanced technical expertise and audit-readiness, who will help mitigate internal and external risks and support the safe and reliable operation of our services.

■Main Responsibilities - Conduct security reviews of web applications and infrastructure - Prepare for and respond to internal and external audits; develop and maintain security guidelines - Plan, execute, and analyze security risk assessments and vulnerability scans - Respond to security incidents and develop/implement recurrence prevention measures - Promote security awareness through collaboration with internal engineers and stakeholders

Required Skills

1. Native-level Japanese communication skills (including handling audits and documentation)
2. 3+ years of practical experience as a security engineer
3. Knowledge of vulnerabilities in web applications and networks
4. Experience developing and operating security-related policies and guidelines
5. Strong technical writing skills for security reviews and audit responses
6. Native-level fluency in Japanese

Nice-to-have Skills

1. Experience implementing security measures in the financial or crypto asset industry
2. Experience designing and operating security in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
3. Hands-on experience with security tools such as WAF, SIEM, IDS/IPS
4. Business-level English communication skills (e.g., collaboration with global teams)
5. Relevant certifications such as Registered Information Security Specialist (RISS), CISSP, CISA
6. Business-level proficiency in English

Compensation

8,000,000 – 13,000,000 yen - Monthly salary = Annual salary ÷ 12 - Breakdown of monthly salary: -- Fixed overtime pay: Equivalent to 45 hours/month = hourly wage + 25% × 45 hours -- Base salary = Monthly salary – Fixed overtime pay - Additional legal overtime, night, and holiday work exceeding 45 hours/month will be compensated separately - Various allowances (commuting, remote work, etc.) provided separately - Performance-based bonus available in addition

Employment and Work Conditions

1. Employment Type: Full-time (No fixed term)
2. Probation Period: Yes (6 months), with no changes to labor conditions during the probation period
3. Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Flextime system with core hours from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
4. Break Time: 60 minutes during working hours
5. Overtime: Available
6. Smoking Prevention Measures: No smoking indoors
