Summary

You will be one of the founding team members at Flippy. This opportunity is perfect for people looking to create high impact in a growth stage startup. You will wear multiple hats that help you fulfil your responsibilities. You will be shaping the future of the core engineering team through your code and regular interviewing for future hires.

You will be working on the core platform infrastructure, including but not limited to the core trading infrastructure at flippy. You will also review, test, and verify code for adherence to quality and security standards that we define at flippy.

You definitely should have:

• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and system design, with 4+ years of experience writing production level code
• Experience working with python web services (Webhooks/ REST/ HTTP APIs)
• Prior experience with serverless architecture, and AWS services like Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, Elasticache and API Gateway
• Ability to write production level code, and optimise for latency/ transaction success, based on business requirements
• Strong mathematical/puzzle solving skills: Ability to translate complex puzzles into code
• A strong experience in managing stakeholders and mentoring junior developers
• A strong interest to learn about blockchain, p2p transactions and smart contracts (or a strong willingness to learn about it: we will help you learn if you are new to this)

Brownie points for having:

• Understanding of crypto trading platforms, order books, order types, etc. (or keen interest to learn about it: we will help you learn if you are new to this)
• Prior experience with a financial services platform
• Ability to tie complex code with critical business requirements
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior engineers

Compensation:

Total CTC → Industry leading (includes both equity and cash compensation)
