ROLE PURPOSE 

Copper.co is seeking a highly motivated Sales Trader to join our dynamic OTC trading desk and Commercial department in Switzerland. In this vital role, you will help and deputize the Head of Trading & Revenue in the execution of cryptocurrency trades for our customers. You will also collaborate closely with our network of liquidity providers and exchanges to ensure efficient execution.

A key part of this role involves communicating effectively with our Sales and Relationship Managers to create a positive customer experience throughout the entire execution process. You will also engage in sales activities across all product lines in Switzerland, and work with Copper's Treasury team to manage inventory and mitigate risk. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Assist and deputise the Head of Trading in the execution of cryptocurrency trades for customers.
2. Engage in sales activities across all Copper.co product lines in Switzerland.
3. Collaborate closely with our network of liquidity providers and exchanges.
4. Communicate effectively with Sales and Relationship Managers to ensure a positive customer experience during the execution process.
5. Work with Copper's Treasury team to purchase/sell inventory and mitigate risk.
6. Work with clients to assist with their execution of cryptocurrency trades and encourage increased trading volumes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

Essential 

1. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or professional equivalent.
2. Relevant working experience in trade execution, sales trading, derivatives trading, or similar.
3. Professional training in the domain of trading.
4. Experience in digital asset trading or FX
5. Fluent in German, English. French, desirable, other languages are an asset.
6. A strong collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skillset.
7. Sense of accountability and a proactive work style.
8. Ability to work well under pressure.
9. Can-do attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Network in German and French speaking Switzerland in TradFi or Crypto an asset.
