Summary

Business/Sales Operations & Strategy is a cross-functional team working across the whole company, partnering with Coinbase senior leadership focused on high-impact strategic projects and data analyses. This specific role focuses on supporting our Sales, Trading, and Prime organization. We're currently hiring for roles at both the Associate and Senior Associate levels. 

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): 

1. Drive alignment on the highest-priority strategic topics across all sales/GTM-related contexts
2. Scope, design, and operationalize processes/frameworks to accelerate our sales motions and drive P&L
3. Use data and insights to understand our diverse client base and define go-forward strategy
4. Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Coinbase leadership team 
5. Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities, and build business cases to inform and influence our approach
6. Contribute to improving our capabilities by enhancing existing flows and recruiting/developing new team members

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):  

1. BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
2. 2+ years of experience in a business strategy (e.g., management consulting, banking, etc.) role 
3. Solid analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills working with Sales teams and executives
4. Ability to plan and prioritize workload; ability to multitask and meet deadlines with quality product
5. Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment

Nice to haves:

1. Experience in data analyses using SQL or data exploration tools (e.g., Superset, Looker)
2. Familiarity with Sales & Trading topics (e.g., prime brokerage)
3. Experience working at or on a crypto-focused company (e.g., crypto exchange) or protocol

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$130,900—$175,100 USD
