Summary

The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance function across Tether Data. This role ensures that product releases meet defined quality standards through the development and execution of test strategies, frameworks, and automation. The QA Lead works closely with the teams, Dev-Ops and Product to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

The QA Lead serves as the quality champion within Tether Data and plays a key role in shaping the overall testing culture and processes.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the design and execution of QA strategies across projects within Tether Data.
2. Define and implement test plans, automation frameworks, and quality metrics.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with development and release processes.
4. Evaluate feature proposals, ensuring that they are well defined and verifiable.
5. Monitor and report on quality KPIs, defects, and test coverage.
6. Drive automation efforts and optimize CI/CD pipelines for test integration.
7. Advocate for quality-first principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
8. Raise no-go warnings for version releases that do not meet acceptable quality criteria.
9. Provide mentorship to the QA team.
10. Contribute to the implementation and management of testing tools.

Job requirements

1. At least 4+ years of experience in a QA Lead field.
2. A self-driven and proactive personality is essential – You will be given significant autonomy to tackle the challenges you’re given.
3. Experienced with creating and implementing QA strategies and tooling across multiple projects.
4. Experienced with implementing test automation frameworks.
5. Experienced with monitoring and reporting on quality metrics.
6. Experienced with API, Web and Mobile app testing.
7. Experienced using command line interfaces and SDKs.
8. Experienced implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for test integration.
9. Experienced with mentoring QA engineers.
