We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to improve our testing practices, with a primary focus on backend systems. The ideal candidate will establish robust End-to-End testing frameworks, improve our automation infrastructure, and ensure reliable releases. You'll work closely with our development team to implement efficient testing processes that maintain high product quality while improving development velocity.

Missions

1. Design and implement comprehensive End-to-End testing strategies for our backend systems
2. Develop and maintain reusable test automation frameworks and scripts
3. Review PRs with a focus on testing quality and coverage
4. Establish reliable test data management and environment practices
5. Create clear documentation for testing processes and standards
6. Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability

Skills Required

3+ years of experience in QA automation

Strong knowledge of backend testing methodologies, particularly API testing

Experience setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks

Proficiency in at least one testing language/framework

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration

Nice-to-Have Experience

Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, and TypeScript

SRE experience or knowledge of reliability engineering principles

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Frontend testing expertise

Familiarity with blockchain technology and/or gaming

$60,000 - $100,000 a year
