Summary

We are seeking creative product designers to join the flippy design team. The ideal designer will be obsessed with building an intuitive and useful design for the users. This role provides you with massive ownership over different domains of flippy. You will be shaping the future of the core design team through your design finesse by building at flippy.

Note: This is an in-person job, so please apply only if you will be able to join the team in Bangalore. Our office is in HSR Layout, and we work in person five days a week.

You should definitely have:

• Prior hands-on experience in designing core workflows in either consumer products or financial apps.
• Experience in crafting effective solutions for diverse requirements, including complex architectures, with an exceptional design thinking acumen and a keen attention to detail.
• The ability to independently perform different design processes like competitor analysis and usability tests, and debrief the product teams on the findings
• Transform customer problems into effective solutions, leveraging your knowledge of UX design principles and tools
• Creation, implementation and maintenance of a consistent Design Language for Flippy across all its properties (website, app and social media)
• A drive to improve and maintain the UI component library to permit faster product iterations
• A hunger to ideate and implement features for smaller workflows on different channels of interaction
• Past experience working with product team and business stakeholders to lead outcome oriented projects, and the ability to manage design process under strict sprint plans and deadlines
• Passionate about improving their skills and becoming an all-round designer
• Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and willingness to learn, and motivation to take ownership of parts of the design process e2e
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team on general brainstorming and ideation sessions
• [Preferred] Past experience in a production environment.

Brownie points if you have:

• Understanding of crypto trading platforms. Experience with designing for financial or cryptocurrency products
• A strong sense of ownership with the product and design language
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies
• Experience with design systems
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

• Design: Figma, Adobe Suite
• Frontend: React Native for mobile-app, React/NextJS for web-app)
• Backend: Python, Flask, NodeJS, NoSQL, Redis
• Cloud: AWS (Cognito, EC2, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway)

Compensation:

Total CTC Industry leading (includes both equity and cash compensation)
