xStocks is Kraken’s tokenized equities platform, building core market infrastructure for globally accessible, onchain equities. The market is early but demand is real, and the opportunity is significant as the business sits at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and traditional capital markets.

Unlike point solutions, xStocks integrates issuance, custody, compliance, trading infrastructure, and distribution into a single stack, enabling exchanges, fintechs, brokers, and regional operators to offer tokenized equities at scale.

As the business grows, we are strengthening the operating backbone to support disciplined expansion. As 

, you will act as a co-owner of the xStocks and Equities business—partnering with leadership to drive growth, own cross-functional initiatives, and help scale a category-defining platform.

The opportunity

1. Drive the business forward across product, commercial, operational, and regulatory fronts
2. Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and structural weaknesses – and fix them
3. Operate as a co-owner of the xStocks and Equities business
4. Own high-impact cross-functional initiatives from definition through execution
5. Step into ambiguous or under-owned areas and bring clarity, structure, and momentum
6. Support strategy, market positioning and GTM with rigorous analysis
7. Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Finance to ensure coordinated execution
8. Improve operating cadence, decision quality, and accountability across teams
9. Support market expansion initiatives and new strategic opportunities
10. Help grow the business – not just measure it

Skills you should HODL

1. 8+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or similar analytical roles
2. Background at a top-tier consulting firm (MBB or equivalent) strongly preferred
3. Strong generalist mindset with the ability to move across strategy, finance, product, and operations
4. Experience in fintech, crypto, or financial infrastructure strongly preferred
5. Strong structured problem-solving skills
6. Comfort operating in ambiguity with high ownership
7. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions
8. Passion for fintech, capital markets, and the evolution of financial infrastructure
