Summary

We’re seeking a talented Payroll Manager to support the administration of our global payroll operations. Reporting to the Director, Global Payroll, this individual will play a key role in managing payroll activities across the APAC region, serving as the primary point of contact for local payroll matters and collaborating closely with our Human Resources team. 

This is a 12-month contract position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  1. Lead day-to-day payroll processing across multiple APAC countries in compliance with local statutory, tax, and labor regulations.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of salaries, RSUs, Tender Offers, and other incentive payouts.
  3. Partner closely with local vendors, internal finance teams, HR/People Ops, and Global Equity to support accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  4. Serve as a key liaison for APAC payroll audits and ensure readiness for year-end compliance reporting.
  5. Address payroll queries and provide support to employees promptly.
  6. Contribute to month-end and year-end payroll close processes, ensuring reconciliations, reporting, and statutory filings are completed on time.
  7. Drive process improvements and implement payroll-related projects, including onboarding new countries/entities, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.
  8. Manage earnings/tax code configuration in payroll platforms for regional activity (including bonuses and supplemental income).
  9. Review, analyze, and resolve complex payroll and tax issues independently.
  10. Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and document payroll process controls.
  11. Coordinate banking and treasury operations for employee funding in-country.
  12. Oversee statutory filings and ensure timely reporting and remittance of employer obligations.
  13. Prepare reports and data extracts to support audits, compliance, and leadership insight requests.
  14. Maintain up-to-date payroll documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and across the broader business.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  1. 7+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience across APAC countries (Singapore required; additional countries preferred).
  2. Strong understanding of APAC payroll legislation and statutory compliance, with expertise in Singapore being essential. Familiarity with other APAC countries is a plus.
  3. Deep understanding of RSU and Tender Offer taxation and disbursement practices.
  4. Experience handling crypto-based compensation or digital asset disbursements is highly desirable.
  5. Familiarity with ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, Workday or similar global platforms.
  6. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  7. High attention to details and professional discretion.
  8. Proactive, highly organized, and capable of making informed decisions with minimal supervision.
  9. Proven experience managing payroll year-end filings, reconciliations, and tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  10. Strong communication and documentation skills to ensure handoffs, training, and audit trail coverage.
  11. Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
