At Flipster, our Mobile Platform Engineering Team is dedicated to optimizing performance and enhancing the stability of our mobile applications. We focus on delivering a seamless and efficient user experience, particularly in critical areas like chart performance, which plays a key role in our trading platform.

Beyond performance improvements, we establish engineering metrics on the client side to drive data-informed decision-making and problem-solving. Our ultimate goal is to continuously enhance the quality of our mobile products.

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Platform Engineer to join us in tackling complex technical challenges and elevating Flipster’s mobile platform to the next level.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and optimize performance and platform requirements on the client side.
2. Lead projects aimed at enhancing the performance of charting functionalities, a critical component of our trading platform.
3. Define and implement mobile engineering metrics to inform decision-making and problem resolution.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and establish best practices.
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of iOS development experience.
2. Strong proficiency in Swift and related iOS development technologies.
3. Proven track record in mobile performance optimization and stability improvements.
4. Experience leading end-to-end development of features and applications based on complex business requirements.
5. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple teams to solve problems.

Preferred

1. Experience with SwiftUI development.
2. Full-stack development experience (iOS + Android, Web, or Backend).
3. Prior experience working on a Mobile Platform Team, leveraging deep knowledge of mobile tech stacks.
4. Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
5. Professional working proficiency in Korean (written and spoken).
