Summary

As a Mandatory IT Support Engineer Intern, you will be an essential part of our IT department, helping to ensure the smooth operation of our internal systems and providing technical assistance to our employees. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your technical skills, learn about IT infrastructure in a fast-paced fintech environment, and contribute to the security and efficiency of a leading crypto platform.

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage the complete employee IT lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. This includes preparing and configuring hardware, setting up accounts, and ensuring a seamless technical transition for new and departing team members.

  2. Assist in configuring and supporting employee devices (Mac, Windows, Linux) using Mobile Device Management (MDM).

  3. Help manage and configure software systems, including Google Workspace and Atlassian (Jira, Confluence).

  4. Serve as a point of contact for internal IT support requests, helping to troubleshoot technical issues for our team.

  5. Assist in maintaining an inventory of company hardware and software assets.

  6. Contribute to the creation and upkeep of IT-related documentation and support guides.

  7. Collaborate with the IT team on projects to improve our internal processes and security protocols.

What you need to be successful:

  1. You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  2. You have a strong interest in technical support, device management, and software configuration.
  3. You are a reliable, self-motivated, and quick learner with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  4. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; German is a plus. 
  5. You are curious and proactive, with a hands-on mentality and a willingness to take an active role in our fast-growing company.
  6. Bonus: Basic knowledge of a shell scripting language (e.g., Bash, Powershell, Python) or familiarity with Google Workspace and Atlassian is a plus.
