The Role: Manager, Credit Risk
We are looking for a Credit Risk Manager to join our Risk / Neo Banking department. They will be responsible for building and leading Geminis credit risk function and managing multiple new initiatives. The candidate will fill a senior level position and will be responsible for building a team under them as the operations scale.
Responsibilities:
- Help establish a strategic plan for the company including setting acceptable risk levels and assessing the credit risk of the target market
- Develop an underwriting model based on the strategic plan and test it for accuracy, predictability, and effectiveness
- Prepare full governance documents for the model including the structure, variables, weights, and execution process
- Test and report on the models effectiveness on a consistent basis
- Report and track metrics on a consistent basis to ensure acceptable risk
- Oversee account management functions including credit line management, minimum payment, and delinquencies
- Develop and manage key vendor relationships
- Partner with our Fraud Management team to identify and combat patterns of credit fraud
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6-10 years of experience in consumer credit risk management
- Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals
- Prior experience developing and managing vendor relationships

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $137,000 - $172,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidates compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
