Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Manager (M/F) on a full-time permanent contract, as part of a replacement.  

As part of this function, you will have to define and implement organizational plans for the logistics chain of physical flows of our products, from the purchase of raw materials and components to the distribution of finished products.

Your organizational talents will allow you to coordinate the management of physical and informational flows while ensuring the cost-time ratio, quality (compliance with customer requirements, safety of people and the environment, transport of dangerous products) in compliance with the company strategy.

You will strive to guarantee the achievement of logistics objectives in terms of customer service, costs and quality , in particular by controlling stocks and transport costs.

You will lead a team bringing together the monitoring of internal and external flows, supply, shipments and transport to customers and subcontractors, in compliance with the Magna group employee charter.

• Required training: Bac + 5 International logistics and successful professional experience of at least 5 years in a similar role, automotive field desired
• Fluent English / German optional
• Knowledge of IT: office automation, ERP (Baan, SAP, etc.)
• Mastery of logistics information systems: planning and scheduling software
• Mastery of national and international regulations : import-export, transport, handling, dangerous products.
• Mastery of continuous improvement processes.
