Summary

As a Junior Financial Operations Associate in the Financial Institutions Operations team at Bitpanda, your role will involve providing active support for the company's development of strategic relationships with critical external financial institutions. This involves supporting daily tasks related to our relationships with new and existing financial institution partners, as well as collaborating with internal departments and external financial partners to contribute to meeting the company's financial obligations.

What you’ll do:

1. Work closely with internal departments to efficiently manage and complete external Know Your Customer (KYC) requests and other essential banking documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Develop initial drafts of compliance questionnaires, contributing to the precision and thoroughness of our regulatory compliance efforts.
3. Support bank account opening processes and the administration of bank account access, adhering to internal procedures and external regulations.
4. Maintain a proactive approach to tracking and meeting deadlines for external KYC requests, facilitating a seamless and timely process for all stakeholders, alongside supporting the overall process improvements.

Who you are: 

1. Proven experience (1+ years) in a treasury or banking operations role, with a clear understanding of KYC regulations and banking documentation requirements.
2. Strong project management skills, with previous experience in a Financial Operations team, preferably in the banking environment.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Suite applications.
4. Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences.
5. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline, providing a solid academic foundation.
