Job Description


We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Specialist to join our global IT team, supporting approximately 120 employees across multiple locations. This is hybrid position with employees required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands on technical support as part of a corporate IT team.
  • Review, prioritize and close help desk tickets.
  • Prepare new employees joining the company with equipment set up and system access.
  • Help support our full infrastructure including networking, operating systems, and server architectures as well as VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, and network security technologies.
  • Work toward continuous improvement of our network security and risk reduction.
  • Support our ongoing migration from a server-based platform to a cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Post secondary education in a related field and experience working in an IT Support position.
  • Experience in MS-SQL, MS-Exchange, Active Directory and NetApp would be considered an asset.
  • Experience or interest in security protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and detail orientation are essential.
  • Strong prioritization skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are critical.
  • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability will be important in this role.
