Summary

What you'll do

Owns Bitget EU's internal IT operations, cybersecurity infrastructure, and IT compliance. Ensures all IT systems, tools, and access controls are secure, available, and compliant with DORA and applicable EU regulations. Maintains full independence of the EU IT environment from Bitget Global where required.

  1. Own and manage Bitget EU's internal IT environment including devices, networks, tools, and SaaS applications
  2. Manage identity and access management across all EU systems — onboarding, offboarding, role changes
  3. Implement and enforce IT security measures including endpoint security, encryption, MFA, and access controls
  4. Maintain an up-to-date IT asset register covering all hardware, software, and cloud services
  5. Support implementation and monitoring of security tooling (WAF, IDS, SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management)
  6. Ensure EU data residency and GDPR compliance
  7. Ensure compliance with DORA requirements for ICT asset management and access controls
  8. Coordinate with Bitget Global IT where shared tools are used, while ensuring EU data and access remains segregated
  9. Provide IT support to the EU team
  10. Support regulatory audits and FMA inspections with IT evidence and documentation

What you'll need

  1. 5+ years IT management experience, ideally in regulated financial services, fintech, or crypto
  2. Strong experience with identity/access management, endpoint security, and network administration
  3. Experience with cybersecurity tooling and frameworks (IPDRR, NIST, ISO 27001)
  4. Understanding of DORA and GDPR requirements
  5. Experience coordinating IT within a global group structure
  6. Fluent English; Chinese or German is a plus
