Job Description

Summary

As our Growth Engineer, you will own the technical DNA of our analytics stack, ensuring our data is high-fidelity, our tracking is unbreakable, and our product’s "map" is flawless. You are the person who transforms "digital exhaust" into clean, structured, and actionable intelligence. Without you, our teams are guessing; with you, they are making decisions with absolute confidence. You sit at the vital intersection of engineering, marketing, and data, acting as the ultimate translator between business goals and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and maintain a seamless data flow from user interaction to our downstream tools (Mixpanel, GA4, AppsFlyer) using Segment.
  2. Manage and version-control the analytics infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring all tracking plans and integrations are handled via code rather than manual UI tweaks.
  3. Act as the "Translator" between Marketing and Engineering, converting high-level business questions into precise technical tracking requirements.
  4. Proactively monitor and audit the data pipeline to prevent "polluted" dashboards, ensuring that every event fired is accurate and meaningful.
  5. Maintain the organizational "Source of Truth" for data schemas, ensuring code is always backed by clear, accessible documentation.
  6. Configure and troubleshoot complex mobile and web attribution pathways, including deep-linking and postbacks.

Qualifications

  1. Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, specifically within Node.js and React environments for both server-side and client-side tracking.
  2. Proven experience using Terraform to manage third-party integrations and cloud-based stacks.
  3. Deep technical knowledge of Segment (Identify, Track, and Page calls) and its relationship with tools like Mixpanel and GA4.
  4. A solid grasp of AppsFlyer (or similar tools) for handling deep-linking and cross-platform attribution.
  5. Comfortable working with webhooks, REST APIs, and the "plumbing" that connects backends to third-party data ecosystems.
  6. A high degree of analytical curiosity—you don’t just "fire" events; you understand how they influence a funnel or a report.
  7. The ability to balance the needs of the data "producers" (Engineering) and the data "consumers" (Analytics).
