Summary

The Algorand Foundation is looking for a creative, highly organized, and adaptable graphic designer to join our dynamic creative team. As part of a fast-paced blockchain startup, the ideal candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment, balancing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. You will contribute to the Algorand Foundation’s brand by creating impactful and authentic designs for digital content, social media, paid ads, emails, technical reports, infographics, UI, presentations, events, print materials, SWAG, and campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be a key player in the creation and execution of brand assets across a variety of platforms. While you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, you'll also be expected to demonstrate your grasp of the Algorand brand guidelines, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all creative output is aligned with the Foundation’s mission and identity.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Create high-quality and creative visual assets for digital content, social media, paid ads, emails, technical reports, infographics, UI, presentations, events, print materials, swag and campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  2. Be a key contributor to creative problem-solving, translating complex concepts and data into visually engaging designs.
  3. Maintain and manage an organized library of design assets and brand materials for internal teams and external partners.
  4. Help produce design elements for special campaigns and assist in the development of visual strategies that support organizational goals.
  5. Work within established brand guidelines, tailoring designs for specific projects, audiences, and needs, and maintaining creative input to evolve and keep the assets innovative. Leverage the flexibility within the guidelines to ensure the brand’s identity remains intact.
  6. Collaborate with teams across the organization and with external partners to produce designs that meet strategic goals and are aligned with brand standards.
  7. Ensure all design deliverables are met on time, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Be a creative problem solver, with a strong ability to develop appealing and innovative solutions for design assets.
  2. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all design work.
  3. Experience designing infographics, technical reports, print materials, and other data-driven content.
  4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, while being open to and able to apply constructive feedback.
  6. Advanced skills in Figma, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Google Slides/PowerPoint, and similar tools.
  7. Experience with print materials, with a solid understanding of print production processes.
  8. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of creative work, particularly in a fintech, tech, or startup environment.

GOOD TO HAVE

  1. Experience with animation, video editing and illustration is a plus
  2. Experience in Canva
  3. Web3 experience
  4. 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
