Partnering closely with department heads, you’ll provide commercial insight to senior leadership and take ownership of core planning, reporting, and cost management processes.
This is a hands-on opportunity within a fast-growing, global crypto trading firm, offering broad exposure across the organisation and the chance to build, scale, and automate finance processes as GSR continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial planning & Analysis
- Own the annual budgeting process and bi-annual reforecast cycles.
- Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
- Act as a finance business partner to department heads, providing insight into performance and cost drivers, and supporting decision-making through financial analysis.
- Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including month-end reviews, management reporting and Board materials.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to automate and simplify FP&A and reporting workflows.
- Support and lead ad hoc analytical and strategic projects as required.
Cost Control & Accounts Payable Oversight
- Own the end-to-end overheads and accounts payable process, from purchase requests through to cost reporting.
- Develop a deep understanding of cost drivers and spend patterns, proactively identifying risks and operational issues.
- Act as the primary point of coordination between FP&A, Procurement and the wider business on cost management.
- Line-manage the AP Analyst, providing coaching, guidance and performance oversight.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of AP processes and controls
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm for the role, continuous learning, and the crypto industry.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate insight into actionable impact.

- Experience with ERP and accounts payable systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite.
- Proven experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- A demonstrated track record of improving, automating, and scaling finance processes.
- Experience in a trading firm is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g. Excel VBA, Google Apps Script, Tableau) is a plus.
- CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified.
What We Offer:
