Summary

We are looking for a Financial Crimes Detections Program Manager to join Block and support the continued build-out of our Bitcoin Financial Crimes Compliance program specific to the monitoring and detection of illicit activity. Our mission is to make banking and financial services accessible to the underserved and unbanked by designing and implementing an outstanding compliance program to help grow Block Inc's business while protecting the broader financial ecosystem and the Company.

This is a full time remote role in the US. You will report to the Head of Financial Crimes Detections.

You Will

  1. You will be responsible for informing and executing the long term strategy to enhance Bitcoin compliance detections to ensure best in class coverage in identifying potential illicit activity.
  2. You will evaluate BSA/AML coverage requirements for new and existing products or features
  3. You will provide governance oversight to compliance detections, maintaining relevant documentation and change management tracking
  4. You will collaborate with compliance technology, operations and analytics to implement or enhance compliance detection rules
  5. You will stay informed of regulatory developments, industry trends and Block roadmaps to guide decisions.
  6. You will manage multiple initiatives, tracking milestones and facilitating conversations between multiple stakeholders

You Have

  1. 5+ years managing projects within BSA/AML compliance space
  2. 3+ years managing projects directly related to Bitcoin
  3. Experience with blockchain analytics tools (API integration knowledge and experience a plus)
  4. Deep understanding of compliance monitoring and directions mechanisms
  5. Knowledge in BSA/AML regulations, risks and typologies.
  6. Experience managing and documenting large scale projects from start to finish

Even Better:

  1. Relevant industry certifications (CAMS, CFE, CFCS, or CRCM).
  2. Experience with Human Exploitation investigations or industry associations

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$152,200—$228,200 USD

$144,000—$216,000 USD
