About the role:

  • Treasury & Asset Management: Oversee and execute on the the full scope of asset management for Boost including the coordination of revenue, grants, investments, foundation assets, DAO assets, and others.
  • Financial Processes & Reporting: Own all financial processes, reporting, and forecasting to ensure were meeting the required financial standards while communicating any important updates to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Budgeting Process & ROI Assessment: Coordinate internally to set budgets and track spend on a set cadence to understand the total ROI and inform the decision making process for renewing that spend with ROI analysis.
  • Assess Financial Implications: Work with internal stakeholders to understand the potential financial implication of new products, features, and partner experiments (especially those including onchain assets) and communicate those implications to the appropriate stakeholders.

About You:

  • Asset management: You have in-depth experience managing and creating processes to scale the management of onchain and offchain assets. Assets include revenue, grants, investments, foundation assets, DAO assets, and others.
  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate takeaways: You can distill complex information into actionable insights and are experienced in creating dashboards and other reporting mechanisms to bring forward relevant financial information.
  • Experimental mindset: You are comfortable with operating in a high tempo environment and are able to assess and communicate the potential financial implications of decisions in a timely manner.
  • Process oriented: You have the ability to design and implement effective and efficient processes that scale the way we do business.
  • Start-up Experience: You have previous experience working with a small team in a fast paced start-up environment that changes quickly.
