Summary
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting in line with applicable accounting standards such as US GAAP, Ind AS, or IFRS
- Understand company operations and settlement processes, and support trade operations by performing regular reconciliations and verification procedures
- Assist in developing and improving processes, policies, and control frameworks
- Work within ERP-based environments such as enterprise financial systems
Role Overview
As an Associate in Finance, you will support the development of in-house accounting and reporting capabilities. The role focuses on improving and consolidating finance processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders.
- Oversee financial closing and audit-related activities for legal entities
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to achieve strong financial outcomes
- Adapt to a dynamic environment and contribute across multiple areas including accounting, treasury, settlements, and reporting
- Gradually build subject matter expertise in accounting, reporting, and regulatory aspects
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and perform under pressure
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Accounting or Finance with a relevant professional qualification (such as CMA, MBA, or partially completed CA)
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial services or similar industries
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of financial products and accounting standards
- Experience in preparing financial statements and related disclosures
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP applications
- Familiarity with ERP systems used in finance operations
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools for financial analysis
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn and work across different functional areas
