Summary

Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting in line with applicable accounting standards such as US GAAP, Ind AS, or IFRS
2. Understand company operations and settlement processes, and support trade operations by performing regular reconciliations and verification procedures
3. Assist in developing and improving processes, policies, and control frameworks
4. Work within ERP-based environments such as enterprise financial systems

Role Overview

As an Associate in Finance, you will support the development of in-house accounting and reporting capabilities. The role focuses on improving and consolidating finance processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial information for stakeholders.

1. Oversee financial closing and audit-related activities for legal entities
2. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external consultants to achieve strong financial outcomes
3. Adapt to a dynamic environment and contribute across multiple areas including accounting, treasury, settlements, and reporting
4. Gradually build subject matter expertise in accounting, reporting, and regulatory aspects
5. Manage multiple tasks efficiently, prioritize workload, and perform under pressure

Required Qualifications

1. Graduate in Accounting or Finance with a relevant professional qualification (such as CMA, MBA, or partially completed CA)
2. 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial services or similar industries

Preferred Skills

1. Understanding of financial products and accounting standards
2. Experience in preparing financial statements and related disclosures
3. Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP applications
4. Familiarity with ERP systems used in finance operations
5. Strong proficiency in spreadsheet tools for financial analysis
