Summary
Executive Recruiting Research group is a dedicated recruiting team that partners with our executive leadership and recruiters to identify, cultivate and recruit the best-in-class leadership talent globally. As an Executive Researcher, you will build strategies and processes for talent mapping, intelligence gathering and candidate engagement to bring the industry’s top executives to Coinbase
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Reporting to the Head of Executive Search, you will partner with Executive Recruiters to:
- Identify and build a pipeline of potential prospects for Executive roles and assess candidate fit against the specifications of a position
- Provide an informed perspective on prospects / candidates and how they match against the key selection criteria
- Provide deep insights on the external talent market
- Lead and prioritize diversity sourcing efforts to ensure we hire a diverse and inclusive workforce. Shape how we can continue to improve diversity at our leadership levels
- Assist in the development of the job description, search strategy and target list of companies
- Gather relevant information regarding the appropriate target companies
- Help project manage executive searches from start to finish (JD creation, search kickoffs, agency contracts, work with recruiting coordinators, Greenhouse support)
- Serve as a valued thought partner to Executive recruiting team; provide insightful candidate profiles and recommendations
- Assist in high level name generation and talent mapping creation; provide commentary on potential candidates.
- Participate in kick-off meetings with the hiring team in order to assist in the development of the search strategy.
- Develop industry and/or functional expertise by maintaining an awareness of industry trends and “best in class” leaders/future leaders.

- Self-starter: the successful candidate will always be looking to learn and take on more responsibility
- Successful candidates will be self-directed, independent, and able to proactively address the needs of the Executive team, which is often fast-paced, and simultaneously long-term in nature
- 1-2 years experience as an executive sourcer or researcher in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (industry or executive search firm)
- Strong research skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience working with high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Experience with talent mapping strategies

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$95,030—$111,800 USD
