Summary

BitGo is looking for an 

 who will join our team in Bangalore, India.

Responsibilities:

1. Be accountable for growing BitGo’s core competency of increasing the amount of digital assets we Custody.
2. Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same.
3. Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department
4. Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work
5. Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services
6. Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example
7. Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing
8. Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
9. Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks
10. Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client first approach.
11. Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.

Required:

1. 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 3+ years in a managerial role.
2. Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same.
3. Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager.
4. Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent.
5. Proven success leading engineering-wide initiatives.
6. Demonstrated history of collaborating with product to come up with a product roadmap.
7. Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.
