Summary

As an Engineering Manager on the Onboarding Verification Team, you will lead a dedicated group of engineers responsible for building the first touchpoint for millions of users joining Bitpanda. Your mission is to create smooth, secure, and compliant onboarding experiences across Web, iOS, and Android. From registration to identity verification, your team ensures that every step meets the high standards required of a global crypto-financial platform operating in Europe and beyond—making it simple for customers to get started with confidence.

What you’ll do

1. Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional engineering team to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that enhance the discovery experience.
2. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to align team efforts with business goals and user needs.
3. Oversee the technical delivery of features and improvements, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
4. Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment, to maintain a robust development process.
