About The Job
We are looking for an Editor in Chief with working knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency trading and can think both creatively and analytically. Your duties include developing a content strategy for all media channels and managing a team of content creators. The ideal candidate should come from a strong editorial background with prior experience in managing a news site.
Responsibilities
- Determining content creation processes and setting benchmarks for content quality
Oversee the creation of expert and high-quality editorial content across topic areas including
market insights, campaign, and educational copy in a timely manner
Help to manage a team of content creators and producers that will create content that will
be shared across all our channels (Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, LinkedIn YouTube, Discord,
Telegram and Facebook) - Collaborate with products team for content roadmap alignment and other marketing
functions to reach audiences and improve SEO rankings - Determine performance metrics and measure effectiveness of published content to be
presented and discussed during management meetings. - Develop a content roadmap that builds Bitflex brand
- Ensure brand voice consistency across all copy
- Stay current on finance, business, crypto, web3 news
Requirements
- Excellent English writing and editing skills
- More than 8 years of experience in journalism, publishing and/or related fields; financial
news/ Crypto exchange background preferred - Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading an editorial team
- Has a creative script writing portfolio, especially for social media in a variety of formats and
styles - Strong preference for candidates with experience in or knowledge of cryptocurrencies,
blockchain technologies, Web3 and decentralized finance - Impeccable attention to detail
- This position requires you to be on-site to work alongside with your team members, but if all
requirements are met seamlessly, option for remote work will be open for discussion
