Summary

Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Global Head of HRC/EDD in managing the Global High-Risk Client program and specifically the ongoing maintenance of EDD Policies & Procedures both Retail & Corporate High Risk Clients. 
  2. Provide strategic support and insights on high-risk customer monitoring and other critical HRC/EDD initiatives.
  3. Take ownership of the Global High-Risk Client Governance Forums to ensure there is connectivity and ongoing collaboration & information sharing between the First Line of Defence (FLOD) and Second Line of Defence (SLOD) teams.
  4. Implement and oversee the high-risk customer monitoring program for Global markets inclusive of oversight of enhancement & remediation efforts. 
  5. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance products and systems related to HRC/EDD.
  6. Document global HRC/EDD requirements, including the global standard and compiling and maintaining the local requirements per country.
  7. Partner with local MLROs to ensure localization where applicable.
  8. Serve as an advisor in the Customer Risk Rating (CRR) methodology for High Risk Clients globally.
  9. Stay current on global HRC/EDD standards such as FATF, as well as local requirements in regions where the company operates.
  10. Oversee HRC/EDD project prioritization.
  11. Monitor and manage metrics pertaining to HRC/EDD.
  12. Oversee global escalation processes related to HRC/EDD.

Requirements

  1. 8+ years of EDD experience.
  2. ACAMS, ACFCS or other industry leading certification. 
  3. 4+ years of experience managing the periodic reviews including the monitoring of high risk customers.
  4. Knowledge and experience with global CDD/EDD requirements.
  5. Knowledge and experience with implementing customer risk scoring frameworks.
  6. Deep understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
  7. Knowledge of global licensing requirements related to financial services and crypto related business activities.
  8. Experience with complex beneficial ownership structures.
  9. Excellent communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem solving, and writing skills.
  10. Adaptable, open-minded, and comfortable to work in a fast-paced remote working environment.
