Summary

BitGo is looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer to build, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will join a talented team of engineers who demonstrate strong technical ability, delivering mission-critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.

This position will be located in Bangalore, India but will work as part of a global engineering team.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement changes to production infrastructure where uptime is critical
2. Maintain high availability of BitGo's Blockchain services
3. Participate in the operations response team (on-call rotation)
4. Facilitate deployment of new code and support release processes
5. Support operational monitoring and alerting
6. Ensure reliability and availability of our logging platform
7. Maintain Kubernetes clusters on both bare-metal and AWS
8. Support deployment strategy through automation, scripting, and workflow optimization
9. Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform

Required: 

1. 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams
3. Strong Linux administration skills
4. Proficiency with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience working in distributed Kubernetes environments
5. Highly fluent in Bash
6. Experience writing either Python, or GoLang
7. Experience scaling and tuning performance of large systems
8. Strong security background including secrets management, WAFs, and network policy enforcement
9. Hands-on experience with databases
10. Experience as a member of an on-call rotation
11. Interest in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space

Preferred: 

1. Experience with modern deployment tooling such as ArgoCD
2. Experience with GitHub Actions or other modern CI tooling
3. Experience with CNCF Kubernetes ecosystem including operators
