Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join our team in Bali. This is a greenfields role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both commercial finance and financial control requirements globally and locally. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance based in Australia, this position requires a combination of relationship-building, analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. As our company continues to scale, this role will evolve, and the ideal candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Finance Support:
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company's strategic objectives.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing strategies, revenue streams, and cost controls.
Financial Control:
  • Establish and maintain financial control processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Oversee financial reporting, internal audits, and compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Manage financial risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Process Development and Standards:
  • Work in a greenfields environment to create and implement financial processes and standards.
  • Continuously improve and optimize financial workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that aligns with the company's values.
Adaptability and Communication:
  • Adapt to evolving business needs and take on new responsibilities as the company grows.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide clear financial guidance and insights.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance within a mature business.
  • Proven experience working in an immature process environment, contributing to the development of financial processes and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities.
  • Leadership experience with a track record of effectively leading and developing team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced company culture.
