Summary
The Business Head – Game & Metaverse Development is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and driving the business strategy, operational delivery, and market positioning of our gaming and metaverse verticals. This role requires a unique combination of industry expertise, entrepreneurial thinking, commercial acumen, and strong leadership capability.
You will be responsible for growing the business, building and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies along with the marketing team, supporting sales with client consulting and demos, working closely with marketing on strategic positioning, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects. This is not just a departmental head role — it’s an opportunity to be the face of Antier’s vision for the future of gaming and digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Leadership
- Define, own, and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy for both game development and metaverse solutions.
- Build the vertical into a revenue-driving business unit, contributing to Antier’s broader strategic objectives.
- Identify and develop new service lines and monetization opportunities within gaming, virtual worlds, avatars, NFT-based games, and social metaverses.
- Establish strategic partnerships with gaming studios, publishers, IP owners, platforms, and Web3 protocols to fuel expansion.
Consulting & Sales Support
- Act as a domain consultant in all pre-sales discussions, offering insights on product feasibility, solution architecture with the help of technical team members, gamification strategy, and experience design.
- Deliver high-impact presentations, demos, and walkthroughs for potential clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the sales team to craft tailored proposals that showcase business value, ROI, and Antier’s domain depth.
- Help sales close deals faster through expert consultation, client alignment, and proactive stakeholder engagement.
Marketing Strategy & Thought Leadership
- Partner with the marketing team to co-create GTM strategies, campaigns, and narratives that define Antier’s presence in the global gaming and metaverse landscape.
- Lead the creation of case studies, white papers, webinars, and industry thought leadership content.
- Contribute to brand building by representing Antier at conferences, roundtables, panel discussions, and gaming expos.
- Use competitor research and user trends to advise marketing on positioning, pricing, and product communication.
Product & Delivery Oversight
- Own end-to-end delivery accountability for all projects within the game and metaverse verticals.
- Work closely with project managers, producers, game designers, developers, and QA to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
- Define and improve delivery processes, team structures, and operational models to scale efficiently.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with product teams to define vision, roadmap, and milestones for internal or client-facing game/metaverse platforms.
- Coordinate with tech leads, UI/UX, blockchain experts, and creative teams to maintain alignment and speed.
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance across the vertical.
- Mentor, coach, and hire talent to build a resilient and future-ready team.
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, with 5+ years in gaming, metaverse, Web3, or immersive experience domains.
- Proven experience in business growth, strategy consulting, sales enablement, or product ownership in gaming or related industries.
- Solid understanding of game development lifecycles, game engines (Unity, Unreal), live ops, monetization, and game publishing models.
- Experience in Web3 gaming, NFT integration, digital ownership models, or metaverse development is a strong plus.
- Ability to bridge business, technology, and creativity in client and internal conversations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver on revenue and project KPIs.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a Game Producer, Business Head, Studio Manager, Product Head, or Web3 Consultant.
- Exposure to avatar systems, virtual social layers, digital economies, and immersive UX design.
- Strong network in the gaming, blockchain, or venture capital communities.
- MBA or advanced business/technology qualifications are a plus.
