Summary

At Ripple, we are building the future of finance and Web3 on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). We're looking for a strategic leader to own a critical mission: architecting and sourcing the foundational infrastructure that will unlock the next wave of ecosystem growth. This role will be the central hub for our global strategy of the XRPL ecosystem. Your primary focus will be identifying, negotiating, and executing high-impact partnerships for the foundational pieces the XRPL ecosystem needs to thrive. You will quarterback this global effort, coordinating with our regional BD teams across the Americas, APAC, MEA, and LATAM to execute a single, cohesive vision.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  1. We're targeting a candidate who lives and breathes the Web3 infrastructure stack. Someone with a precise, first-hand understanding of what actually drives user and developer adoption.
  2. A "Builder's" BD Expert: You've proven you can close complex, technical partnerships that ship and scale.
  3. Infrastructure Native: You intuitively understand the wallet, oracle, bridge, and identity landscape. You know the players, the tech, and what's missing.
  4. Strategic & Global: You've managed complex projects across multiple time zones and can align diverse teams toward a singular goal.
  5. Protocol-Minded: You're excited by the challenge of building at the L1 level and understand how core infrastructure creates a "flywheel" effect for an entire ecosystem.
  6. Beyond Infrastructure, you will also play a key role in the following initiatives Ripple is working on: Growing RLUSD market cap on XRPL; Creating cases & working with partners to tokenize high quality assets on XRPL for financial use cases such as collateral/repo 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  1. 5+ years of experience in business development and partnerships and sales in relevant sectors: DeFi, Finance, Banking
  2. Relevant experience in either Institutional DeFi, Exchanges, blockchain technologies or FinTech.
  3. Interest and strong understanding of the web3 ecosystem and institutional DeFi market, in particular tokenized real world assets, stablecoins
  4. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  5. Proven track record of success in developing first of a kind partnerships and complex deals
  6. A strong collaborator: An ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
  7. Excellent communication and presentation skills
