Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a Blockchain Engineer to join our Treasury team, focused on building and maintaining on-chain infrastructure to support liquidity management, cash operations, custody, and risk management. This role will design and implement smart contract solutions, automation pipelines, and integrations with custodial and non-custodial wallets to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Smart Contract Development & Auditing
  2. Design, build, and audit smart contracts to automate treasury workflows, including rebalancing, cross-chain swaps, and bridging.
  3. On-Chain Infrastructure & Automation
  4. Build systems to consolidate and monitor balances across EOAs, Safe/MPC wallets, custodians, and DeFi protocols.
  5. Automate recurring transactions (e.g., stablecoin conversions, revenue rebalancing) aligned with treasury policy targets.
  6. Treasury System Integration
  7. Integrate on-chain infrastructure with Treasury Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba) for unified reporting across fiat, custodial, and non-custodial accounts.
  8. Develop APIs and middleware to ensure seamless interaction between blockchain networks and internal systems.
  9. Risk & Compliance Support
  10. Support risk management with real-time visibility into protocol-level exposures, credit/counterparty risk, and liquidity positions.
  11. Collaboration
  12. Work closely with Treasury, Finance, Security, and Product teams to translate policy and risk requirements into technical solutions.
  13. Partner with custodians, auditors, and external vendors (e.g., MPC providers like Fireblocks/FORDEFI) for integration and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. 3–5+ years of blockchain development experience (Solidity, Rust, or similar).
  3. Hands-on experience with smart contract development, auditing, and deployment on Ethereum and/or other major chains.
  4. Strong knowledge of DeFi protocols, liquidity pools, bridges, and stablecoins.
  5. Experience with custodial and non-custodial wallet infrastructure (EOA, MPC, multi-sig).
  6. Proficiency with APIs, Python/TypeScript, and DevOps tooling for automation.
  7. Understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and financial risk is a plus.

Preferred

  1. Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) integration.
  2. Prior work in fintech, digital asset exchanges, or institutional crypto custody.
  3. Strong security mindset: ability to identify and mitigate smart contract and infrastructure risks.

Impact & Success Metrics

  1. Reduction of manual treasury transactions and approvals.
  2. Improved visibility of on-chain balances, flows, and risks.
  3. Successful automation of revenue rebalancing and cross-chain liquidity management.
  4. Increased capital efficiency (minimizing idle assets, optimizing protocol usage).
