Summary

  • General bookkeeping
  • Perform full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions
  • Data entry into accounting system

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the senior accountant and wider finance team
  • Collaborating with these teams to work on various accounting projects
  • Performing reconciliations of accounts
  • Review Aged Receivables
  • Processing payments and invoices accurately and within expected time periods 
  • Liaising with the sales team on the customer account activation
  • Assist with accounts inquiries from clients (answering queries and correspondence)
  • Taking minutes in meetings and other administrative duties

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Experience: 

  • Accounting knowledge (A degree in Accounting is preferable)

Skills: 

  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Discretion as there will likely be sensitive information and figures discussed
  • The ability to work under strict time constraints
  • The ability to prioritise work 
  • An organized and methodical approach to a task
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences and stakeholders
  • Experience with meeting KPIs
  • Great listening skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Financial literacy and experience
