Summary

The team you will join is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, prospect conversion, and the growth and servicing of institutional and professional client relationships. Target clients are primarily banks and asset managers interested in establishing and growing their own digital asset offerings. Our services offered include digital asset trading, custody, staking and tokenization.

This role is focused specifically on managing relationships with late-stage prospects and clients. The Account Manager develops strong ties within large organizations to strengthen client relationships, monitors developments in the market, and anticipates client needs to offer required services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategically manage key accounts, ensuring clients can make optimal use of Crypto Finance’s products and services
  2. Build strong relationships within large organizations to deepen client engagement and facilitate cross‑selling opportunities
  3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to convert late‑stage prospects into clients, prioritizing efforts to anticipate and address prospective client needs
  4. Act as a second line of defence for designated AML and KYC topics, maintaining a compliance‑focused client base and demonstrating a strong understanding of applicable AML and KYC frameworks and requirements
  5. Further develop market presence by attending selected conferences, monitoring regulatory developments, and building a strong institutional and professional prospect network
  6. Develop and maintain close working relationships with internal departments, including Compliance, Trading, Operations, and Legal
  7. Maintain an expert‑level understanding of the trading and custody platforms, as well as other products, to provide knowledgeable and effective client support
  8. Maintain an expert‑level understanding of the digital asset market landscape
  9. Apply a systematic approach to relationship management, including the maintenance of complete and accurate client account documentation
  10. Update and maintain the CRM system to ensure accurate and comprehensive recordkeeping of all client relationships
  11. Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and restrictions

Requirements

  1. A motivated individual with 4-5 years of relevant experience in Account Management, Sales for institutional clients, or similar function at a financial institution or a technology company operating in the financial sector
  2. Strong interest in blockchain technology and digital assets, including a solid understanding of the crypto asset market
  3. Relevant university degree (e.g., Business Administration, Science, Mathematics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience
  4. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, combined with a strong team-player mindset
  5. Highly proactive, outgoing, and self-driven personality
  6. High attention to detail and accuracy, paired with a hands-on and solution-orientied mentality
  7. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple ad-hoc projects simultaneously
  8. Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems
  9. Proficient written and spoken English and German; any additional European languages is a plus
