Summary

We are looking for a Senior Finance & Strategy Analyst to join the Block Corporate Finance group to help drive forecasting cycles, enable capital allocation decisions across our business, and provide analytical support to our business partners across Customer Operations and Hardware. You Will

1. Provide financial planning and analysis support to our business partners
2. Be a Financial Business Partner to Block's Hardware and Customer Operations teams
3. Create analyses that facilitates clear decisions-making
4. Develop month-end reporting that explains key P&L variances across our vendors
5. Evaluate our performance; report the performance; identify any risks or opportunities associated with reported financial data
6. Support the financial planning process for your key business partners and drive process improvements, including automation and standardization
7. Partner with departments (e.g. Accounting, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, and others) to report on the financial impact of decisions across the company
8. Prepare analysis and support communication to product leaders, board members and executive staff

You Have

1. 4+ years of experience, with excellent modeling and business partnership skills
2. Experience in an operating role within FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, consulting, investment banking, or a similar field
3. Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
4. Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences, with the ability to distill complex information for different audiences
5. Experience with SQL/Hyperion a plus
