Summary

We are looking for a data storyteller and product strategist to join our Data Analytics team. As a Product Data Analyst focused on our Retail business, you will uncover the "why" behind user behavior. You will be expected to understand the exchange business model and the retail trader mindset. You will partner directly with Product Managers, Marketers and Compliance to optimize the retail user journey, from that first site visit to their first trade and beyond.

If you are obsessed with funnel conversion, retention loops, and using data to build sticky products in the fast-paced crypto environment, and have previous exposure in an exchange, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Go beyond reporting to provide actionable recommendations. Analyze user friction points within the onboarding and trading flows to drive product iterations.
  2. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to analyze campaign effectiveness, affiliate performance, and referral systems. You will be the source of truth for CAC, LTV, and ROI metrics.
  3. Build intuitive, self-serve dashboards in Tableau and Mixpanel that allow stakeholders to monitor KPIs (Daily Active Users, Churn, Trade Volume), conversion funnel and campaign metrics.
  4. You will partner with Product Managers before engineering begins to define clear success metrics (KPIs) and tracking requirements. 
  5. You ensure we never ship a feature without knowing how we will measure its success to make decisions about product development, strategy, and performance
  6. Move beyond passive health monitoring. You will relentlessly dig into the data to uncover the "why" behind funnel drop-offs and user friction, transforming negative trends into optimization opportunities.
  7. Build and maintain sophisticated user cohorts (e.g., Retail vs. Pro Traders, Power Users vs. At-Risk Churn) to isolate specific behavioral patterns. You will help the business understand that not all users trade the same way.
  8. Act as the guardian of our data schema. You will standardize event naming conventions and properties to ensure absolute consistency across Web, iOS, and Android, ensuring our data remains clean and scalable as we grow.
  9. Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests (and multivariate tests) to scientifically measure uplift. You will help the team distinguish between signal and noise.

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years in Data Analytics, with a dedicated focus on Product Analytics or Growth.
  2. Prior experience in Crypto, Fintech, or high-velocity B2C Tech (Gaming/E-commerce) is highly preferred. 
  3. Expert proficiency in SQL is non-negotiable.
  4. Deep hands-on mastery of Mixpanel (building funnels, retention cohorts, impact analysis).
  5. Proficiency in Tableau for high-level reporting.
  6. Experience with Segment or similar CDPs for data governance.
  7. You can translate complex business questions ("Why did trade volume drop yesterday?") into technical queries and explain the answer to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. You are comfortable working with ambiguity and can push projects from "idea" to "deployment" with little hand-holding.
