Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a technical role involving technical drawing, engineering, collaboration with internal and external partners, and on-site support. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, strong problem-solving skills, strong technical drawing proficiency, practical mindset, is comfortable in a dynamic environment and can travel occasionally for work.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical drawing of components and cooling systems, field installations and testing setups.
2. Design hydraulic and thermodynamic systems for oil and water circuits, heat exchangers and dry coolers.
3. Interact with colleagues and partners on R&D projects and integrate findings in designs.
4. Coordinate with suppliers, prepare technical specifications, and review documentation throughout different project stages.
5. Travel to sites to support field activities, including testing, site commissioning, and technical assessments.

Job requirements

Skills:

1. Solid knowledge base of mechanical and thermo-fluid dynamics.
2. Proficient in creating 2D and 3D technical drawings with CAD software.
3. Good manual skills, attention to detail, and safety awareness.
4. Proficient in English and Italian in speaking and writing. Knowledge of Spanish is a big plus.

Background:

1. Technical diploma or Engineering degree or a related field (University of applied science or similar).
2. >2 years of experience in hydraulic, mechanical or HVAC systems.
3. Proactive, practical approach to problem-solving, being able to troubleshoot technical challenges with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
