Summary

You will shape our Asia Pacific (APAC) KOL/influencer strategy and community growth across X, Telegram, Youtube, WeChat and other social channels. Your mandate is to scale awareness, trust, and user activation by building high-impact creator partnerships, running world-class community operations, and shipping measurable marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

KOL/Influencer Marketing

  1. Source, vet, negotiate, and manage creators; develop briefs and content calendars aligned to GTM milestones.
  2. Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers and identify new partnership opportunities to expand brand reach and influence within the web3 community.
  3. Stand up an affiliate/referral program with UTM links, promo codes, and revenue-share where applicable; manage KOL budget and payouts.
  4. Track and analyze KOL campaign performance using key metrics, provide regular reports, and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement.

Community Management

  1. Own day-to-day operations and growth of community groups on Telegram, X, WeChat, and other social media channels.
  2. Localize community initiatives and content for priority markets; coordinate AMAs, IRL/virtual events, meetups.
  3. Build feedback loops from community to product, BD, and support.

Integrated Marketing and GTM

  1. Deliver channel plan and campaigns for product launches and integrations with clear positioning and messaging.
  2. Effectively partner with Product Marketing, Brand/Creative, Social, and Product teams to ensure integrated and coherent messaging across all initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. 3-6 years of experience in Web3 marketing, directly contributing to community growth and impactful influencer collaborations.
  2. Proven success in influencer marketing or KOL management within Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency, with a strong ability to manage and leverage KOL relationships to achieve marketing goals.
  3. Extensive network with Web3 KOLs and demonstrated strong account management skills to readily leverage existing relationships for impactful campaigns.
  4. Deep familiarity with crypto culture and products
  5. Experience utilizing social media platforms and analytics tools to measure the impact of influencer and community initiatives on key business metrics
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport and collaborate effectively with content creators and influencers, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and campaign goals.
  7. Contracting and budget management; comfortable negotiating rates and deliverables.
  8. Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Nice to Have

  1. Experience building KOL programs for exchanges.
  2. Local market expertise with strong creator/KOL network in Greater China, South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia
  3. Can demonstrate measurable ROI from past influencer campaigns
  4. Moonlight as an emerging KOL himself/herself
  5. Additional languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese)
