Summary

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be the crucial first step in our sales funnel, responsible for generating new sales opportunities through strategic prospecting and qualification of potential customers. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build relationships with prospects while effectively representing our company's value proposition.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients that match our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) using various outreach methods including cold calling, emailing, and social media engagement
  2. Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and determine if there's a mutual fit for our solutions
  3. Meeting Scheduling: Book qualified meetings or product demonstrations for Account Executives to advance the sales process
  4. Pipeline Management: Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects, meticulously track all activities in our CRM system, and nurture leads that aren't yet sales-ready
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align strategies, share market insights, and continuously refine targeting approaches

Key Skills & Qualifications

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and concisely
  2. Strong interpersonal skills including rapport building, empathy, resilience, and the ability to handle rejection professionally
  3. Exceptional organizational abilities including time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
  4. Proficiency with CRM systems (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or ZoomInfo)
  5. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed targets
  6. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience
