Summary

DEPARTMENT/ TEAM PURPOSE:

ROLE PURPOSE: 

 

You will be at the forefront of the business, bringing new clients to Copper, for both Custody and Prime services. By engaging with our prospective and existing clients and drawing feedback to your services, you will be helping us to set the industry’s standards and drive the next wave of the innovation in the industry.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  1. Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and secure partnerships and revenue opportunities in the Copper’s sectors. 
  2. Identify potential business opportunities, conduct market research, and assess competitor strategies to inform decision-making. 
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, financial institutions, fintech companies, and other relevant parties. 
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful onboarding of new partners and clients. 
  5. Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and close partnership agreements. 
  6. Provide ongoing support to partners and clients, ensuring their satisfaction and retention. 
  7. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt business development strategies accordingly. 
  8. Prepare regular reports and analysis on business development activities and results for senior management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

Essential 

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
  2. Proven experience in business development, preferably within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry. 
  3. Strong knowledge of the financial services and cryptocurrency landscape. 
  4. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  5. Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines. 
  6. Highly organized and detail-oriented. 
  7. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. 

Desirable 

 

  1. Traditional Financial experience specific to Private Credit Markets 

 

Base Salary range

 - $100,000 to $145,000
