Summary

As a Business Analyst within our dynamic and growing team, you will promote structure and discipline around initiatives using a standard project framework, establishing scope, and performing business impact analysis.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements by collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Participate in interviews and workshops to understand business needs and objectives
  2. Support the analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Learn to utilize process mapping techniques to visualize workflows
  3. Collect and analyze data to identify trends and insights. Use basic statistical methods and data visualization tools to present findings in a clear manner
  4. Develop skills in creating reports and automating routine tasks using tools like Excel, SQL, and other relevant software. Assist in streamlining reporting processes to enhance efficiency
  5. Work with senior analysts and development teams to support the design and implementation of solutions that align with business requirements
  6. Assist in the planning and execution of projects. Support the development of project plans and timelines, and help track progress
  7. Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and deliverables. Participate in meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration
  8. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices. Show a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and methodologies
  9. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation, including business requirements and data analysis reports. Ensure documentation is accurate and accessible

 

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly. Willingness to learn how to create and deliver presentations.
  3. Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders. Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining quality standards.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities. Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of business analytics.

 

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

  1. Experience or internships in business analysis, reporting, or related fields is preferred but not required.
  2. Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in interpreting data and providing insights. Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL) is a plus.
  3. Experience with Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.
