Summary

The Sales Manager is a key growth driver focused on expanding the BitMEX platform volume and revenue. You will be responsible for high-volume user acquisition, turning platform interest into active trading volume, and ensuring a seamless transition for users from sign-up to their first trade. This role requires a deep understanding of the retail crypto landscape and a proactive approach to building brand loyalty through direct engagement and strategic partnerships in a fast-paced, 24/7 market environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify and onboard new retail traders through direct outreach and digital community engagement.
  2. Manage and scale a network of affiliates, influencers, and trading groups to drive consistent referral traffic.
  3. Optimize the user journey to increase the conversion rate from registration to active trading.
  4. Develop and execute retail initiatives such as trading competitions, deposit bonuses, and educational webinars.
  5. Monitor retail market trends and competitor activity to ensure the platform remains the top choice for individual traders.
  6. Act as the voice of the retail user by providing feedback to product teams for feature improvements.
  7. Track and report on growth KPIs including new active users, retail deposits, and retention.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in retail sales, growth, or community management within the crypto or fintech space.
  2. Strong knowledge of crypto derivatives, including perpetual swaps and margin trading.
  3. Ability to communicate complex financial products in simple, engaging terms for a retail audience.
  4. Active presence and networking skills within platforms like Telegram, Discord, and X.
  5. Proven track record of hitting aggressive user growth and acquisition targets.
  6. Self-motivated and capable of working effectively in a remote-first, global team.
