Summary

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer (contract) with experience creating financial interfaces, especially digital wallets, payment systems, and fintech applications. In this role, you’ll design secure, intuitive, and engaging experiences around money movement, account management, and transactions. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance specialists to deliver tools that feel simple and delightful for users while meeting the highest standards of reliability in regulated environments.

What You’ll Do

1. Create user flows for onboarding, payments, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction history, making complex financial operations simple, intuitive, and trustworthy
2. Account for error states, confirmations, and edge cases to ensure clarity and user safety throughout the experience
3. Design wallet-style interfaces that balance usability with security and compliance requirements, and develop reusable systems, components, and visual patterns tailored to fintech products
4. Incorporate industry best practices for KYC, identity verification, and compliance into product design, while ensuring accessibility for diverse user groups
5. Conduct usability testing and leverage analytics to optimize flows for conversion, trust, and retention, iterating quickly based on feedback and regulatory needs
6. Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance/legal partners to translate technical and regulatory requirements into user-centric design solutions

We’re Looking for Someone With…

1. 4+ years of UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing payment systems, wallet apps, or fintech products
2. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
3. Familiarity with payment flows, transaction security, regulatory frameworks (KYC, AML), and fintech UX best practices
4. Demonstrated ability to simplify complex financial systems into clear and approachable interfaces
5. Experience collaborating across teams with engineering, compliance, and product stakeholders
6. Background working on crypto wallets, blockchain-based payment systems, or Web3 fintech applications
7. Knowledge of security design principles for handling sensitive financial data
8. Experience with gamified or consumer-focused fintech products
