You’ll become an integral part of the Backend team, responsible for all the development of the backend services that support our WOO X and internal tools 7*24. What you’ll be working on:

1. Design, build, and optimize backend services for a high-performance, low-latency trading platform.
2. Develop and maintain robust, scalable APIs (RESTful and WebSocket) using Java + Spring Boot, supporting real-time trading and market data.
3. Architect and implement highly concurrent systems that ensure 24/7 system reliability and throughput.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Business, DevOps) to align technical solutions with business goals.
5. Troubleshoot complex production issues, identify root causes, and propose effective, scalable fixes.
6. Contribute to system architecture and design discussions, and promote best engineering practices through code reviews and technical mentorship.
7. Demonstrate potential for technical leadership, with the ability to drive initiatives and influence technical direction across the team.

About you:

1. 5+ years of backend development experience, with deep proficiency in Java and Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
2. Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency models, and asynchronous programming.
3. Experience building high-concurrency, high-availability backend systems in production environments.
4. Familiar with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RocketMQ), databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and in-memory stores (e.g., Redis).
5. Solid experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux-based systems.
6. Proven track record of independently solving complex backend/system-level problems.
7. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
8. Previous experience in financial services, trading systems, or crypto exchanges is a strong plus.
9. Experience mentoring others or demonstrated potential for technical leadership is a significant advantage.
