- Own Monthly Accounting and Reporting Workflows: You will own the entire month-end process, including reviewing and approving the financials (closing the books), proactive communication of results, and ensuring all business-as-usual FP&A documents accurately reflect the most recent month of actuals.
- Oversee Tax, Audit, and Insurance Management: You'll partner with internal and external experts to drive compliance and performance across our Tax, Audit, and Insurance domains, making sure associated policies and processes are clearly defined, executed on time, and general performance meets or exceeds board governance standards.
- Oversee Cayman Island Operations: You will manage the end-to-end Cayman Islands deal flow and accounting process, ensuring that all deals and treasury management strategies are executed in compliance with Blockworks Policy and Legal Counsel advice.
- Manage Payroll: You'll partner with the People & Culture team to review and approve payroll, ensuring that all employees and contractors are paid accurately and on time.
- Team Leadership: You'll recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing team members, making sure to foster collaboration, development, and performance while aligning the team's roadmap with organizational goals and initiatives.
Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.
