Summary

The Role

As the Partnership & Ecosystem Marketing Lead at WalletConnect, you will be reporting into the Head of Marketing and play a pivotal role in driving the go-to-market strategy for partnership integrations and fostering ecosystem growth. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to drive usage and adoption of WalletConnect's products and services within the broader blockchain and crypto ecosystem: wallets, dApps, NFTs, gaming, SocialFi, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: In collaboration with the product and business development teams, prioritize and establish strategic partnerships with key players across blockchains, apps and wallets to expand WalletConnect's ecosystem.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Support the go-to-market of WalletConnects product roadmap with co-marketing initiatives spanning product launches, joint marketing campaigns, and user acquisition strategies.
    • Manage launch and sustain communications planning across all owned, earned, paid & partner channels, effectively communicating strategy and working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders from ideation to execution.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with partners, including blockchain projects, decentralized applications (dApps), wallets, exchanges, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Integration Support: Support BD & DevRel as needed during the integration process, ensuring smooth implementation of WalletConnect's technology and services.
    • Support and own partner relationship as marketing point of contact (PoC).
    • Feedback loop to inform both marketing and BD on positioning and improvements from launch through sustain phases.
  • Usage and Adoption Growth: Drive usage and adoption of WalletConnect's technical products and services within partner ecosystems through proactive engagement, education, and incentivization programs.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and ecosystem growth.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze partnership performance metrics, track KPIs, and iterate on strategies to optimize partnership ROI and impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in product partnership management, business development, or ecosystem growth roles within the blockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding and passion for blockchain technology, decentralized infrastructure and applications, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
  • Ability to easily learn and understand unfamiliar concepts and identify marketing opportunities across a broad spectrum of technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and optimize partnership performance.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
