Are you excited about accelerating the future of blockchain adoption across traditional finance and enterprise markets? As a Director at Polygon Labs, you will lead strategic collaboration efforts with global enterprises, financial institutions, and Web3-native projects. Reporting to the Growth leadership team, you'll shape and execute go-to-market strategies, champion Polygon technology (Agglayer and CDK), and drive ecosystem expansion in areas such as RWA tokenization, DeFi, and cross-chain infrastructure. Your Responsibilities

  1. Identify and close high-impact commercial collaborations with enterprises, financial institutions, and ecosystem players to expand adoption of Polygon Labs' solutions, including Agglayer and CDK
  2. Execute region-specific growth strategies primarily in North America but also EMEA and LATAM in alignment with local regulatory and market conditions
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing) to ensure a seamless path from initial discussion to deployment.
  4. Partner with collaborators post-launch to help grow their ecosystems, drive user adoption, identify distribution channels, and support long-term success based on their unique use case and business model.
  5. Represent Polygon Labs externally at conferences, industry events, and social forums to advocate for our technology stack and ecosystem vision
  6. Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends in RWA tokenization, stablecoins, DeFi, and institutional blockchain adoption, while evangelizing onchain finance and interoperability across the Polygon Labs ecosystem.
  7. Maintain and grow a strong network of institutional and ecosystem contacts to uncover new strategic opportunities

What You’ll Need

  1. 8+ years experience in business development, enterprise sales, partnerships, or ecosystem growth, ideally within blockchain, fintech, or capital markets
  2. Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, Ethereum scaling (especially ZK rollups), smart contracts, and the broader Web3 ecosystem
  3. Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements
  4. Exceptional communication skills and comfort interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  5. Experience operating in remote-first teams and across time zones
  6. Familiarity with Polygon Labs’ technology stack (Agglayer, CDK, Polygon PoS) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in high growth series A-B startup, big tech, management consulting, or investment banking
  2. Existing relationships within blockchain, fintech, or capital markets ecosystems
  3. Experience working with RWA tokenization, custody, or enterprise blockchain use cases
  4. Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven partnership reporting
  5. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, technology or equivalent practical experience
  6. Willingness to travel to industry events and in-person meetings when required
