Summary

I started writing for Genesis News, ITU Blockchain's weekly newsletter, which meant following CT every single day, tracking protocol updates, ecosystem narratives, figuring out what actually mattered and turning it into something a newcomer could read and understand. Over time I became Research and Content Lead and started onboarding new people into the ecosystem myself.

Around that period we entered the Ethereum Foundation's translatathon as a team and ranked first globally. That experience made something very concrete to me: the biggest barrier to crypto adoption in Turkey wasn't interest, it was language. People wanted in but couldn't access the primary sources.

That's what led me and some friends from ITU Blockchain to co-found Maslak Labs, a Web3 community and content studio we built to support global blockchain projects' Turkey-side operations. Through Maslak Labs I ran content, community and growth for projects like Fuel Network, Superseed and Frax Finance. Managed their Turkish presence end to end, covered TGEs, organized IRL events. We hit 5 million annual impressions.

At the same time I joined Fintables, Turkey's leading financial data platform, where I built their entire crypto vertical from scratch. When I joined they had zero crypto presence. Within a year I had built out educational content, technical research, weekly newsletters and trend analysis across X, YouTube and the website, plus partnerships and events. We hit 4 million total engagements that year. The metric I actually cared about though was different: our audience came from traditional finance, they tracked stocks all day, and by the end they were genuinely following what was being built on-chain. Getting that conversion to happen through content felt like the real work.

I've spent the past few years at the intersection of research, content and community, and those three things are just one loop to me. I follow the ecosystem closely, I know how to translate what's technically complex into something people actually want to read, and I know how to build content operations from zero.
